The customer is a gym chain serving strength and functional training members in North Rhine-Westphalia. The 2025 project covered three clubs of approximately 1,000 to 1,350 m² in converted industrial buildings.
Each building had a different internal column grid. The operator wanted broad selectorized, plate-loaded and free-weight training zones without narrowing circulation routes or losing the spacious character of the converted warehouse locations.
The chain also wanted members and staff to recognize the same equipment identity at every club. PowerBaseFit therefore connected a shared equipment list and finish standard with individual footprint checks for each site.

PowerBaseFit reviewed the three floors using equipment footprints, bench movement space, plate-loading access and maintenance clearance. Mirrored equipment positions used the column bays more efficiently, and compact selectorized stations replaced larger models at the tightest site. When the as-built survey showed that one column in the smallest club was 120 mm wider than the lease drawing, a selectorized station was mirrored and a nearby bench was rotated. The operator approved the revised layout before the site allocation was packed, so the equipment list did not need to be reduced.
