Customer background

Three employee fitness rooms for a large manufacturing campus

The customer is a large manufacturing company in Vietnam that upgraded employee wellness facilities for office and production teams in 2024. The project covered three fitness rooms serving different shift patterns and available spaces across the industrial campus.

The rooms needed durable, approachable equipment for employee exercise and supervised after-shift sessions. Because the site did not employ a dedicated gym technician, adjustments, cleaning and routine inspection also needed to remain straightforward for facilities staff.

The project therefore combined one recognizable campus equipment standard with room-specific quantities, user-friendly labels, asset identification and a repeatable maintenance routine.

Supplier selection

Why PowerBaseFit matched the purchasing requirement

  • Selectorized, cable, rack, bench, dumbbell and accessory categories could be coordinated as one campus package.
  • A shared core equipment family could remain familiar to employees moving between rooms and shifts.
  • Room-specific quantities could reflect the different spaces and supervision levels without changing the campus standard.
  • Vietnamese-English labels and clearly identified adjustment points could support mixed-experience users.
  • Room codes, asset numbers and visual maintenance guides could simplify facilities inspection and distribution.
OEM / private label scope

How the product family was controlled

  • Dark-gray frame finish across the selected equipment families
  • Yellow adjustment and inspection points for clear visual identification
  • Vietnamese-English exercise, adjustment and safety labels
  • Room codes and campus asset numbers on service labels
  • Room identification carried onto cartons and allocation lists
  • Preventive-maintenance guides using photographs of the selected models
Project challenge

Create one durable campus standard while three rooms had different sizes, shift usage and levels of supervision.

PowerBaseFit solution

PowerBaseFit kept the same selectorized, cable, bench and free-weight families across all three rooms. The largest room received additional racks and benches, while the smallest focused on guided and cable training. Daily and monthly checks were simplified for facilities staff, with key wear areas shown visually. During the final facilities walk-through, a wall socket in the third room was found closer to the planned functional trainer position than expected. The equipment was shifted within the same training zone and the accessory storage moved to the opposite wall, retaining the original product list while creating a clearer service area.
